Delivery Terms & Conditions

1. Service Scope
Gladding & Son Courier Services provides local pickup and delivery of goods as requested by the client. We operate as an extension of your business and represent your brand during delivery.

​

2. Delivery Radius & Overages

  • Delivery radius is 20 miles from Grand Rapids, MI city center, historically, Fulton & Division Ave.

  • Delivery rates are mileage-based and vary depending on the selected service level, including Standard or Urgent delivery.

  • Deliveries within a 20-mile service radius are billed at the standard mileage rate. For deliveries exceeding 20 miles, additional mileage is billed at the standard rate plus 50% of the base mileage rate for each mile thereafter.

3. Minimums & Scheduling

  • Minimum charge of $10.00 per delivery applies for deliveries less than 5 miles. 

  • Scheduled routes require a recurring agreement.

  • Same-day and rush services subject to availability and Premium/Enterprise subscription level.

4. Cancellations

  • Cancellation within 12 Hours: $0

  • Cancellation within 6 Hours: $5

  • Cancellation within 1 Hour: $10

  • No-Show or Unavailable Shipments: $20

5. Liability & Insurance

  • Standard liability coverage up to $100 per shipment

  • Client is responsible for insuring all packaged being delivered

  • Client is responsible for proper packaging and accurate shipment details

6. Prohibited Items

  • Hazardous, illegal, or restricted materials must be disclosed and approved prior to transport.

​

7. Claims

  • Claims must be submitted within 3 days of delivery

  • Documentation required for review and resolution

​

8. Term & Termination

This agreement remains active until terminated by either party. If client cancels delivery agreement, a cancellation fee may apply according to terms & conditions.
