Jeremy Gladding

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked in marketing, brand strategy, and business development. One of the most rewarding chapters of my career had me traveling across the United States in a pickup truck, hauling trailers to national events and trade shows. Somewhere between the long stretches of highway and the logistics planning behind every stop, I realized something surprising... driving brought a sense of calm and focus that I genuinely enjoyed.

When that chapter ended, I found myself missing not only the road, but also the strategy, timing, and coordination that came with moving people, products, and schedules efficiently. That realization eventually led me to launch Gladding & Son Courier Services here in the Grand Rapids metro area.

Since starting the business, I’ve had the opportunity to meet the hardworking people who keep West Michigan moving, small business owners, warehouse teams, medical offices, manufacturers, retailers, and countless others who make this community what it is. Those relationships are one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

People often ask about the “& Son” portion of our name. My son, who will soon turn three, already takes a strong interest in what Dad does every day. As he grows, I look forward to teaching him the same values our business is built on: honoring our commitments, treating people with respect, and leading with kindness.
